Portlock's new collection of voyages and travels... "Directions to the binder" p. Four page list of subscribers at rear. This is a folio (15" tall x 9.5" wide) printed in double columns.

It is solidly bound in full leather and has been professionally rebacked with 6 raised bands to spine and "Voyages and Travels" in gilt on spine. The covers are marbled leather with edges and corners repaired and supplemented. The text and plates are mostly clean, with some mild foxing/staining scattered throughout. A few taped repairs to first pages of Preface.
